Friend or Foe Gardening

ilustration of garden by Elayne Sears

I have been growing gardens for over 40 years and I seem to learn something every season that helps me to grow better each year. One is never too old to learn new tricks. I found this chart in an old almanac and have found it to be extremely useful in making sure I get the greatest yields. I refer to it each year and I even plan my garden plantings each year based on what was grown the prior year in that space. It works for me so i thought I’d share.
